In celebration of the 300th birthday of Adam Smith and 125 years of ϴ Booth, the IGM held a conversation with Sam Peltzman, a faculty member at the university since 1973 and one of the senior statesmen of the ϴ School. They discussed the history of the ϴ School of Economics with someone who was there through it all, reflect on commonalities between Adam Smith's thinking and the ϴ school, and common public misunderstandings of each. The conversation was moderated by IGM Co-Director Eric Budish.
