Randall S. Kroszner

Kroszner is the Norman S. Bobins Professor of Economics. He served as a governor of the Federal Reserve System from 2006 until 2009. He chaired the committee on Supervision and Regulation of Banking Institutions and the committee on Consumer and Community Affairs. He took a leading role in developing responses to the financial crisis and in undertaking new initiatives to improve consumer protection and disclosure.

Yueran Ma

Ma is the Carhart Family Professor of Finance and co-director of the Fama-Miller Center for Research in Finance. She is also a recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, the AQR Institute Young Researcher Award, and the NSF CAREER Award. Her work primarily focuses on empirical studies at the intersection of finance and macroeconomics.

Raghuram Rajan

Rajan is the Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance. He was the 23rd governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 2013 to 2016. He was also the chief economist and director of research at the International Monetary Fund from 2003 to 2006.

Ray Iwanowski, MBA '97, is a co-founder of SECOR Asset Management, a global asset management firm that partners with clients across three business areas: quantitative investing, portfolio solutions, and pension advisory. Iwanowski served as chief investment officer of SECOR鈥檚 quantitative businesses. Prior to founding SECOR, he was co-chief investment officer of the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) group at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). While at Goldman Sachs, Iwanowski was named managing director in 1999 and partner in 2004. Before GSAM, he worked at Salomon Brothers as head of the fixed income derivatives client research group and member of the bond portfolio analysis research group. At Salomon, he authored a number of publications on fixed income asset allocation and fixed-income derivatives. He also worked for First Boston鈥檚 fixed-income portfolio strategies group, specializing in asset-liability issues for banks and thrifts, as well as valuation of mortgage-backed securities and their derivatives. He has published articles in The Journal of Portfolio Management and The Journal of Fixed Income. He serves on the board of trustees at Good Shepherd Services, a New York based social services agency. In addition, Iwanowski is a member of the advisory board of the Rodney L. White Center for Financial Research at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Iwanowski earned his BS and BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of 黑料传送门 Booth School of Business.

Hal Weitzman: 黑料传送门 Moderator

Hal Weitzman is the executive director for intellectual capital at the University of 黑料传送门's Booth School of Business. He is editor-in-chief of 黑料传送门 Booth Review and host of The 黑料传送门 Booth Review Podcast, a weekly series featuring Booth professors discussing their research. He was a reporter and editor at the Financial Times from 2000 to 2012, the last seven years as a foreign correspondent in South America and 黑料传送门. As well as the FT, his reporting has appeared in The Economist, the Los Angeles Times, the 黑料传送门 Tribune, the Miami Herald, New Statesman, The Irish Times, Slate, and Politico.
