Get back in touch with Booth’s renowned spirit of inquiry and analysis with esteemed faculty at the Back to Booth* sessions. A light breakfast will be available at 10 a.m.
The day will begin with a state of the school at 11 a.m., delivered by Madhav Rajan, dean and the George Shultz Professor of Accounting for ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Booth, and chief global strategist for the University of ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ.
Two concurrent classroom sessions will follow at 11:15 a.m.
Arts and Business with David Booth, MBA ’71
This session will feature David Booth, MBA ’71, founder and executive chairman of Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA), in conversation with Mary Ittelson, adjunct associate professor of strategy, and strategic director to the Arts and Creative Enterprise (ACE) Initiative at ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Booth. They will discuss the significance of art in life, including in business. David will highlight the role creativity has played in his life and in DFA’s success, and he will also speak about his support of the ACE initiative and the Booth art collection.
Highlights from the Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge
In this session, Steven Neil Kaplan, Neubauer Family Distinguished Service Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance and Kessenich E.P. Faculty Director at the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation; and Samir Mayekar, adjunct assistant professor of entrepreneurship, associate vice president, and managing director of the Polsky Center, will discuss the NVC’s most recent cohort of student participants and their companies.

Join the University of ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Association of Black ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ (UCABA) in partnership with ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ Booth: Black ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ (CBAA) for their annual Sunday brunch.
Shuttle service will be available between Gleacher Center and Ida Noyes. One shuttle will be leaving Gleacher Center to go to Ida Noyes at 10 a.m. One shuttle will leave Ida Noyes to go back to Gleacher Center at 1:15 p.m.
