Biography

Thomas Wiemann’s research integrates marketing, econometrics, and machine learning/AI. His current work provides empirical methods for researchers and firms to draw more reliable inferences from data, deepen their understanding of customer demand, and optimize managerial decisions.

Thomas teaches Pricing Strategies in the full-time MBA program. His course equips students with the analytical tools needed to build effective pricing solutions from marketing insights.

Thomas earned a PhD in Economics from the University of ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ in 2025. He also holds an MSc in Statistical Science from the University of Oxford, and dual BSc degrees in Econometrics & Operations Research and Economics & Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. During his studies, he gained work experience in Amazon's Consumer Behavior Analytics group.
